4 snackmaxxing picks to level up your next group hang

‘Snackification’ is upon us. This growing food trend of replacing structured meals with smaller, more frequent mini-meals shows in Gen Z’s eating habits—most of the time, they’re grazing through the day (hello, girl dinner!). There’s nothing inherently bad about this shift; it’s just the sign of the times—and with good reason. Snacking works perfectly for those with busy, on-the-go lifestyles.

If you’re a big fan of snacking, Gen Z or otherwise, we’ve gathered yummy options you can grab, reach for, or share with your snacking buddies—exclusively available via the SM Malls Online app. Because, truly, there’s nothing better than having a flavorful bite or sip when you have someone to split it with.

Cool and indulgent

A cold treat just soothes the soul—and that’s why it’s a universal favorite no matter the age bracket. If you’re feeling a little playful and craving a decadent pick-me-upper, grab Dairy Queen’s bestselling Mini Oreo® Blizzard—now only P119 for two cups until October 31, 2026.

Each cup is served with Oreo® cookie pieces crumbled and tumbled with Dairy Queen’s signature creamy vanilla soft serve. It’s an easy treat on an afternoon at the mall or a convenient mood booster to have when your sweet tooth hits.

Available at any SM branch of Dairy Queen near you.

Contrasting pairs

Balancing nostalgia with a feeling of novelty, Macao Imperial Tea’s menu hits all the right spots, especially for Gen Z’ers who love consuming childhood flavors in visually distinctive liquid-heavy formats. Case in point: Milk tea—and all its unique iterations.

Macao Imperial Tea’s sweet deals are a tale of contrasts, and we’re here for it because there’s variety for everyone. Until October 31, 2026, you can buy a Cheesecake and Pearl Milk Tea and get a Yakult Green Tea for free, or a Lemon Yakult for a free Black Pearl Milk Tea.

Go classic or fruity—it’s up to you. Share a cup with your milk tea buddy while hanging out or have the freebie all to yourself for later.

Creamy and cozy

For most of us, especially Gen Z’ers, grabbing a cup of coffee offers an affordable moment of joy and self-care during a busy day. More than a coping tool for high-stress routines, each cup can also function as a “lifestyle accessory.” Plus, cafés often serve as social hubs, remote work spaces, and study spots we can chill at and have cozy group hangs in.

At Kenangan Coffee, your next coffee run or session comes with an extra cup. Just order one (1) 16oz Iced Kenangan Latte and score your second latte for free until October 31, 2026. It’s the café’s bestselling drink made with espresso, milk, and palm sugar, with its high milk-to-espresso ratio softening the sharp, bitter taste of espresso for a gentler caffeine boost that’s easy on the palate.

That’s two signature lattes, one very good coffee break—for you and a friend.

Available at Kenangan Coffee in SM City North EDSA, SM City East Ortigas, SM City Sta. Mesa, SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia, SM City Sucat, SM City Bicutan, SM City Laoag, and SM City Baguio.
