Customer safety is always a top priority at the SM Mall of Asia, where thousands converge every day for their fun leisure and shopping activities with friends and family. This is why it has recently installed and inaugurated a pedestrian overpass that connects the SM corporate offices and terminal stations to the mall. The well-lit and guarded North and South Bridgeways are open 24/7, with elevators to conveniently accommodate persons with disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens and children.

This move is only one of SM’s efforts to ensure customer safety and to provide a more convenient access for mall goers. The newly opened passageways was inaugurated with a simple ribbon cutting ceremony graced by Ms. Annie Garcia, President of SM Supermalls, Mr. Perkin So Premier 3 AVP of Operations, Mr. Chris Coquia, Mall Manager of SM Mall of Asia and Ms. Nona Reyes, Assistant Mall Manager of SM Mall of Asia. The move was lauded by Pasay City Mayor represented by Mr. Rick Garcia, who is supportive of the efforts made by the SM Mall of Asia to provide a safe environment for the public, along with the business and commercial community located within the world-class shopping destination.
