SM City Yangzhou opened last September 28, 2023, making it the 8th mall in China and the 91st mall opened by SM Prime Holdings, Inc., one of the biggest mall operators in Southeast Asia.
SM City Yangzhou is located in Yangzhou, a famous historical city with profound cultural significance.

The new mall spans 230,000 square meters and offers new and experiential concepts, including an indoor basketball gym, wall climbing, a stand-up comedy bar, space-themed Karaoke Television (KTV), an art gallery, and soon-to-open IMAX theatre and a snow skiing concept.
Rucker Park is a large-scale indoor basketball sports complex.
Rusher Site is the first rock climbing concept in Yangzhou, covering an area of about 1,200 square meters.
The new mall caters to various trends popular to the younger generation, such as green consciousness, art and culture appreciation, sports entertainment, and pets economy.
It features several Instagrammable pop-ups, interactive art spaces, two intellectual property exhibitions, and a Central Alley---an al fresco strip at the heart of the mall with a fluorescent waterfall in the middle.
The mall also houses 12 first-entry brands that bring innovation and diverse experiences to Yangzhou. Brands such as Wowcolour, KKV, Starbeni, Nobody’s Comedy, among others, have become popular destination stops for young customers.
