Your most-loved ambient and relaxing spaces at SM are getting a glow up, with a new indoor garden concept sprouting in the luxurious South. From Nuvali’s one-hectare indoor garden to the reimagined Sky Garden at SM North EDSA and SM Megamall, and the SM Mall of Asia Sky Park, SM is changing what spending a day at the mall can feel like.

A new face to familiar favorites

Part of SM’s exciting mall transformations is curating spaces that give mallgoers lush environments where they can pause, unwind, and rest with its latest innovative green space and leisure park planted at the very top of the SM Mall of Asia.

With the opening of the MOA Sky, SM ushered in a new era of world-class experiences through an innovative in-mall destination blending the best of relaxing and serene spaces, activity spots, and dynamic cultural zones. MOA Sky is home to the country’s only FIFA-grade football pitch flanked by the MOA Amphitheatre and MOA Sanctuary on one side facing the MOA globe, and the MOA Paw Park and entertainment district right above SM By the Bay.

SM North EDSA's iconic Sky Garden first opened in 2009 giving mallgoers and community residents their very own corner of the sky through its long, elevated curvilinear garden design. The green space ribboning City Center and The Block highlights lush greenery from the Roof Garden which featured 55 species of grass, plants, and trees while waterscapes complemented the space with a relaxing atmosphere punctuated with retail and dining spaces.

Now, the Sky Garden is currently being upgraded into an enclosed and air-conditioned oasis extending to connect with the soon-to-be-operational MRT-7. Commuters and mallgoers will soon be able to walk to their destinations conveniently through a cool, serene link once the infrastructure is complete.

Similar redesign initiatives, such as the creation of new green pockets and landscaped community spaces, are underway at your most-loved SM malls.  SM Megamall’s green spaces are also expected to expand with a new air-conditioned sky garden set to be planted at its 5^th level.

The much-anticipated SM Nuvali is slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2026 and has a lot in store for its customers. Apart from the beloved dining and retail places, SM Supermalls’ 91st mall will feature a pioneering one-hectare air-conditioned indoor garden with playgrounds for kids, a paw park for pet lovers, and a Sky Pod offering scenic views of the city.

Also enclosed in the indoor garden are premium restaurants and a number of global brands, completing the SM Supermalls experience. SM Nuvali will provide the thriving Southern area with a new space to unwind with their loved ones and connect with the community.
