SM Mall of Asia Arena proudly welcomed entertainment royalty to its stage in August, celebrating talent, passion, and culture. The venue showcased two major events: the highly anticipated return of South Korean actor and “Prince of Asia” Park Bo Gum, and the crowning of Miss Grand International Philippines 2025.

The Prince of Asia takes the SM MOA Arena spotlight
Park Bo Gum, one of South Korea’s most celebrated actors and musicians, made his long-awaited return to the Philippines—his first since 2019. Known for his roles in hit K-Drama series “When Life Gives You Tangerines” and “Good Boy,” he headlined the “Be With You” fan meeting last August 22.

The event, built around a train journey theme with Park as the captain, took fans on an emotional ride through his career. From music to acting to heartfelt fan interactions, he delivered a night filled with charm and connection. The evening closed with a Hi-Bye session, giving fans a personal and memorable sendoff.

A crowning moment
With 29 contestants, the competition for the highly sought-after Miss Grand International Philippines 2025 was narrowed down to 15 standout finalists. Each radiant woman lit up the stage at the SM Mall of Asia Arena last August 24, impressing the crowd in the swimsuit portion, evening gown round, and Q&A.

1621BC serenaded the crowd and the Miss Grand International Philippines Top 15 candidates.
Adding to the spectacle, rising boy groups 1621BC and One Verse delivered high-energy performances. The night concluded with the coronation of Emma Mary Tiglao (Miss Pampanga) as the country’s official delegate to the Miss Grand International competition in Thailand this October.
