SM Malls to offer prepaid life insurance products

Prepaid life insurance products will soon be available in Philippine malls following the partnership deal between Manulife Philippines and BDO Insurance Brokers.
The deal provides for the distribution of life insurance products at bill payment counters in selected SM Malls around the country.
Among the products on offer will be the Kasambahay Plan and Pinoy Protect, which are designed for domestic helpers and blue-collar workers.
The two products are annual renewable insurance plans that provide coverage for accidental death and dismemberment, death, total permanent disability and burial.
According to Manulife Philippines President and CEO Ryan Charland, the partnership allows ordinary Filipinos to secure their families’ future through a readily available insurance policy.
