In its continuing efforts to offer meaningful and holistic experiences for mallgoers, SM Mall of Asia (MOA), in partnership with the Miraculous Medal Apostolate, the Archdiocesan Commission on Liturgy, and Fr. Roland Limjoco, opened its second exhibit at the MOA Sanctuary titled “Mahal na Birhen, Kaisa sa Lakbay ng Pag-asa.” The exhibit runs from May 5 to July 25, 2025. Admission is free.

This Marian exhibit features replicas of renowned images of the Blessed Virgin Mary from key pilgrimage sites in the Philippines and abroad, including Our Lady of Antipolo, Our Lady of Manaoag, La Naval de Manila, Our Lady of Peñafrancia, Our Lady of Fátima (Portugal), and Our Lady of Lourdes (France).

The image of Our Lady of Fátima stands prominently at MOA Sanctuary's "Mahal na Birhen, Kaisa sa Lakbay ng Pag-asa" Marian exhibit.

The exhibit draws inspiration from Pope Francis’ Bull of Indiction for the Jubilee Year, emphasizing that Mary is a model of hope, standing with the faithful in life’s journey and leading them closer to Jesus Christ.

The revered image of La Naval de Manila is currently displayed until July 25, 2025.

A sacred space above the city

The exhibit is housed at the MOA Sanctuary, located at Level 4, MOA Sky, SM MOA. Surrounded by natural light and greenery, this enclosed glass structure serves as a spiritual retreat for prayer, reflection, and faith-based exhibitions within the mall complex.

A unique feature of the sanctuary is its visual presentation of the Mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Strategically placed globe installations around the sanctuary symbolize the rosary, inviting visitors to walk through and reflect on each mystery as part of their personal spiritual experience.

Following the Sanctuary’s debut exhibit Caru-Caruhan: Small Images of Piety last March, Mahal na Birhen, Kaisa sa Lakbay ng Pag-asa continues the 2025 series of religious exhibits that aim to strengthen devotion and encourage spiritual reflection within an urban setting.

Bringing the Marian pilgrimage closer

By gathering images from revered shrines here and abroad, the exhibit offers an accessible pilgrimage experience to the faithful. It highlights Mary’s enduring presence in the Catholic tradition as an intercessor, protector, and guide on the journey toward Christ.

Adorned with a crown and holding the Child Jesus, Our Lady of Mount Carmel features prominently in the "Mahal na Birhen" exhibit.

Through this initiative, SM MOA continues to expand its role as more than just a retail and entertainment destination, but as a space where culture, faith, and community engagement thrive.

Mahal na Birhen, Kaisa sa Lakbay ng Pag-asa is open from May 5 to July 25, 2025, at the MOA Sanctuary, Level 4, MOA Sky, SM MOA.
