Empowering MSMEs: Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Christina Roque and Senator Loren Legarda champion Filipino artisans together with DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment) Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Secretary Kiko Benitez, through the annual 2025 National Arts & Crafts Fair at the Megatrade Halls of SM Megamall.
Manila, Philippines — The 2025 National Arts and Crafts Fair (NACF), held on October 22–29 at the Megatrade Halls of SM Megamall, successfully brought together thousands of artisans, buyers, and cultural enthusiasts in a celebration of Filipino creativity and craftsmanship.
Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the annual fair once again highlighted the best of local talent across the regions—featuring an inspiring mix of traditional crafts, contemporary handmade products, and innovative designs proudly created by micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the creative sector.

Keeping Traditions Alive! From indigenous weaves to modern design, Artisans proudly showcase their rich heritage at the National Arts and Crafts Trade fair.
This year’s fair showcased a wide range of artisanal products, from handwoven textiles and intricate woodwork to modern home décor, fashion accessories, and sustainable crafts. More than just a marketplace, the NACF served as a vibrant marketplace for MSMEs to expand their reach, connect with buyers, and explore business opportunities both locally and abroad.
DTI officials underscored the importance of empowering local artisans, noting that initiatives like the NACF not only preserve cultural heritage but also strengthen the Philippines’ positioning in the global creative economy.

"Marami po ang nabigyan ng kabuhayan sa amin. Salamat po sa DTI sa pagsali sa amin at sa SM sa pagbigay ng magandang lugar kung saan po madaming tao." - Revina Villabrille

Throughout the week-long fair, visitors enjoyed cultural showcases, interactive craft demonstrations, and special exhibits highlighting the diversity and artistry of Filipino-made products. The event also attracted strong interest from trade buyers, lifestyle brands, and young entrepreneurs looking to collaborate with local artisans.
“We are proud to provide a space where Filipino creativity thrives and inspires. The NACF in partnership with SM Supermalls continue to empower MSMEs, giving them opportunities to showcase their skills and grow their businesses,” said SM Supermall Executive Vice President Joaquin San Agustin.
The National Arts and Crafts Fair remains a testament to the resilience and innovation of Filipino MSMEs, ensuring that local creativity continues to flourish on the national and international stage.
