It all started with a basic decorating class in 1997 that our founder, Marita Laddaran, attended. She was so amazed at how a simple cake could be made into a gorgeous centerpiece. In fact, she was so inspired that she made her own wedding cake that year, and years later went on to graduate as a professional pastry chef from the Northwest Culinary Academy in Vancouver, Canada. And well, the rest is history!.
