SM SUPER RIDERS MECHANICS

WHO ARE QUALIFIED TO JOIN:
  1. The SM Super Riders is open to all individuals ages eighteen (18) years old and above. 
    1. Contestants ages 17 years old and below may only join with adult consent and supervision.
    2. Employees of SM Supermalls, their advertising and PR agencies, including their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity, are not qualified to join the contest.

REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES:

  1. Registration and submission of entries is from 12:00AM of October 1, 2021 to 11:59PM of October 17, 2021.

  2. To register, contestants must visit superriders.smsupermalls.com 

  3. Participant must create a profile by accomplishing the online form:
    1. Name
    2. Address
    3. Email address
    4. Contact number

  4.  To submit an entry, contestants must follow this process:
    1. Visit smsuperriders.smsupermalls.com and sign in with the registered account.
    2. Upload a selfie with the chosen delivery rider.
    3. Include a caption about the excellent service that the rider rendered.
    4. Include the following information about the rider:
      1. Delivery rider’s name
      2. Delivery rider’s contact details
    5. Each contestant may submit as many entries featuring different riders.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  1. In the event that two or more entries from one contestant will be selected for the Top 20 Finals, the said contestant must choose which entry they will ultimately submit for the final judging.

  2. Top 20 Finalists will be announced and notified on October 21, 2021 prior to the final judging and the website voting. 

  3. Website voting will commence from 12:00AM of October 23, 2021 to 11:59PM of November 1, 2021.

  4. SM Supermalls will be screening and judging the entries based on the Judging and Selection process. If, for any purpose, the brand deems the submission to be unqualified or falls under other reasons, SM reserves the right to disqualify the entry.

  5. The contestant is responsible for their own production expenses and logistic arrangements. Neither SM Supermalls nor any of those involved in any capacity in organizing, executing, judging or supplying prizes for the SM Super Riders is responsible for covering or reimbursing any expense that maybe incurred by the contestants.

  6. The contestants and the winners agree to the use of their photograph/s, name, personal biography, submitted video and audio material/s within the current calendar year and in the succeeding two (2) years, and the use of that information in all forms of media and communication related to SM Supermall and SM Super Riders without compensation, consideration or notification and hereby releases SM Supermalls, its employees, representatives, and organizers, from any claims or liability arising out of or with respect to such use and , in particular, irrevocably assign any and all copyright right to SM Supermalls regarding the contestant’s submitted entry/material in the SM Super Riders and the contestant and his/her parents or guardians waives any and all moral rights relating to same.

  7. Profanities or vulgarity, content not safe for work (NSFW), potentially harmful actions/activities, and violence captured in the photo will automatically mean disqualification.

  8. The general rules and regulations of the SM Super Riders do not impose any obligation on SM Supermalls or any other individual, company, or organization to post or repost and broadcast or rebroadcast entries submitted by contestants or imposes liability on SM Supermalls or any other individual company or organization for failure to do so.

  9. While recognizing that the judges, corporate sponsors and contestants may know each other outside of this competition, SM Supermalls asks that no contact or communication intended to influence, or that would tend to influence, a judge’s decision about the contestant’s entry shall occur between contestants and SM Super Riders judges or corporate sponsors.

  10. Any violation of the contest mechanics with the concurrence of DTI shall be a ground for disqualification. 

JUDGING, SHORTLISTING PROCESS

  1. At the end of the submission period, 20 entries will be shortlisted by the screening committee based on the criteria below. Tabulation of scores will happen at the Mall of Asia Annex Bldg. Coral Way cor.. W Diokno Blvd., Pasay City on October 22, 2021; 5PM in the presence of a DTI representative.
    AweSM Service Excellent customer service, honesty/integrity 60%
    AweSM Creativity Quality of the post – angle, caption, overall presentation of the post 40%
  2. In case that two or more (2) entries from a contestant will be selected, the said contestant must choose which entry they will ultimately submit.

  3. The 20 shortlisted entries will move on to the finals and website voting. Entries will be uploaded to an SM Supermalls microsite – superriderssmsupermalls.com

FINALS AND WEBSITE VOTING

  1. The 20 entries will be judged according to the following criteria:
    AweSM Service Excellent customer service, honesty/integrity 55%
    AweSM Creativity Quality of the post – angle, caption, overall presentation of the post 35%
    Online vote Entries with the highest online votes 10%
  2. The online votes will comprise 10% of the final score of the finalists.

  3. Online voting will commence from 12:00AM of October 23, 2021 to 11:59PM of November 1, 2021. Website voting feature will automatically close at the end of this period.

  4. Online voting will take place in the microsite: superriders.smsupermalls.com.

  5. Shopper may cast one vote per device, per day within the specified voting period.

  6. Voting journey:
    1. Voter will proceed to the microsite: superriders.smsupermalls.com and key in his/her mobile number for the onetime pin.
    2. Voter will receive a onetime pin (OTP) through the submitted mobile number. Type in the OTP Code and press the ‘Submit’ button.
    3. After encoding the OTP, the voter will be directed to the gallery of entries. He/She will choose his/her desired entry.
    4. A specific landing page of the chosen desired video will appear. Voter to click the “Vote this video” button to cast your vote. 
    5. A thank you note shall appear for completing the voting process.

  7. Website administrator from SM Project Representative will extract all votes on November 3, 2021.

  8. The determination of winners will be held at Mall of Asia Annex Bldg. Coral Way cor. J. W Diokno Blvd., Pasay City on November 4, 2021; 5PM in the presence of a DTI representative.

  9. Details of the winner, containing the signature of the DTI representative, will be sent to the SM Head Office via an official email notice.

  2. The 20% tax for prizes exceeding Php 10,000.00 shall be shouldered by Shopping Center Management Corporation (SCMC), any other expenses incurred that includes the transfer expense, shipment charges, and unit registration shall be shouldered by the winner.

  3. The winners will be announced on November 5, 2021 via registered mail, phone call, text message, SM Supermall website and social media accounts.

  4. A representative from SM Supermalls will provide the following to the winner:
    1. Details and mechanism/process regarding the claiming of the prize
    2. Copy of the Winner’s Certificate. Once cleared and understood, the winner will affix their e-signatures to the Winner’s Certificate and send back the signed copy to SM Supermalls.

  5. Shopping Center Management Corporation’s decision is final with the concurrence of DTI.

  6. The winners may claim their prizes at any SM Supermall they prefer and may only redeem their prize within 60 days after receipt of registered notice, otherwise, prize shall be forfeited in favor of Shopping Center Management Corporation (SCMC) with prior DTI approval.

  7. To claim the prize, winner must provide the following:
    1. Any two (2) valid government identification cards
    2. Winner’s notification text message or mailed letter.

  8. In case of lost winner’s notification text message and mailed letter, winner must present the following:
    1. Notarized affidavit of loss
    2. Any two (2) valid government identification cards.

  9. Should a representative claim the prize, he/she should present the following:
    1. Notarized Authorization letter
    2. Winner’s notification text message or mailed letter.
    3. Two (2) valid ID’s of winner
    4. Two (2) valid ID’s of authorized representative

  10. Prize is non-transferrable and not convertible to cash.
