It has been quite difficult for the restaurants when the pandemic hit, but SM as their partner has been very generous and accommodating. They have been trying to help their restaurant tenants in areas that matter most. This way, restaurants are able to take care of their people.

Raul prefers to deal with farmers directly to shorten the distribution process and this way he gets direct access to and from consumers. The produce is also so much more affordable when he coordinates directly with the farmers. Guided by these lessons, he, along with other restaurant owners, have thought of organizing Farmers Produce with SM and the Department of Agriculture, a timely and essential synergy of effort during these trying times.
