Atty. Desiree Macaraeg persevered to improve her three-year old dairy farm’s standard of production despite the toll of the pandemic on businesses. They engaged a dietician, a veterinarian, and nutritionist to help them formulate their own feed, and their efforts are rewarded. Their cattle are grass-fed, and they now make their own feed concentrate out of the corn from their own farm.

Her husband is an OFW, and running the dairy farm keeps the rest of the family happy and engaged while awaiting his return. In the spirit of giving back, her farm is able to provide work to her relatives and even involve the locals of Magalang, Pampanga. A selfless and generous soul, she continues to engage in projects such as partnering with LGUs through feeding programs, sending agricultural students to on-the-job trainings and providing additional aid to medical frontlines.
