Spider-Man: No Way Home is finally premiering in the Philippines on January 8, three weeks since its release in the U.S. In this latest blockbuster from Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tom Holland reprises his role as the web-slinging superhero who’s faced with a new challenge: After his true identity is revealed to the world, Peter Parker enlists the help of Dr. Strange to restore his secret—but not without consequences.
In light of the recent spike in COVID-19 infections in the country, though—particularly in Metro Manila, which has been reverted to Alert Level 3 as of January 3—SM Cinema wishes to remind moviegoers of safety protocols to curb infection:
- Only fully vaccinated individuals are allowed to watch inside the cinema. Make sure to bring your vaccination card along with your movie ticket or online voucher. Click here for mall entry guidelines.
- Cashless payments are encouraged. SM Cinema accepts GrabPay, GCash, and Credit/Debit Cards.
- Masks must be worn at all times.
- Social distancing should be observed and conversations should be kept to a minimum.
- No food and drinks are allowed inside the cinemas.
For your safety, all cinema staff are also fully vaccinated. The lobby, auditoriums, seats, and restrooms are sanitized before opening, in between screenings, and after the last screening. Every Monday, cinemas are closed for a weekly deep cleaning.
