Bringing the SM mall experience closer to more Filipinos
Posted by on November 18, 2015
Manila, Philippines. November 17, 2015 – The recent opening of SM Cabanatuan in Nueva Ecija drove throngs of people to one of the newest members of the SM Supermalls family, with almost every inch of the mall crowded with giddy shoppers. Being one of the newer commercial establishments the area has had in a decade, it certainly thrills the locals that they are offered something big and exciting in their simple yet thriving town.
In Metro Manila, two more SM establishments opened in the past month alone: Cherry Shaw in Mandaluyong and SM Center in Sangandaan, Caloocan.
With the fast growth of the SM Supermalls network in the country, more people are given the opportunity to have a total family fun experience right within their neighborhood. People in the provinces now get a taste of what malls have to offer just like in Metro Manila, for SM strategically places their new ventures in areas where they know locals would benefit most from having everything they need in one convenient hub.
“The growing number of SM malls in the Philippines is a testament to our commitment of serving more people and providing quality and convenience to every Filipino in all parts of the country. We are very delighted to bring the SM experience to places that had no access to these kinds of goods and services before,” SM Supermalls President Annie Garcia said.
By the end of the month, the retail giant will open SM Seaside City Cebu— which is set to be the 4th largest SM mall in the Philippines and their 56th one to date. As SM continues to expand its network of malls all over the country, more and more Filipinos can now truly enjoy world-class shopping, dining, and entertainment closer to home.
