BJ Pascual Shoots SMxAimeeSong Style Up Campaign

As SM Makati proudly introduces its newest face, LA-based fashion blogger Aimee Song, it comes as no surprise that the fashion campaign was shot by ace lensman BJ Pascual. The 28-year-old’s body of work has graced print ads, magazine covers, and fashion editorials around the world, making him one of the most sought-after photographers of his generation.

SM Makati is confident that BJ’s innate artistry and his ability to play with lights and shadows will make Aimee – and all the clothes she wears – look amazing.

New York-schooled BJ captured the woman behind the hugely popular blog Song of Style gorgeously donning today’s hottest trends. Blogging since 2008, Aimee has made a name for herself globally with her distinct take on fashion, making it both accessible and aspirational, laid-back but also bold and statement-making.

It’s a match made in fashion heaven with both photographer and subject sharing a meticulous eye for style and detail. “[I’m] excited to show how Aimee would wear different trends with pieces from SM Makati. My favorite was the peach layout with the pleats. The color complemented her skin tone perfectly and I love how she worked the skirt,” BJ quips.

BJ is most inspired by his “traveling and meeting new and interesting people.” Incidentally, Aimee happens to be one of those (very) interesting people he has met along the way. “We’ve known each other for about two years now but it’s the first time we did a shoot together. It was a breeze to work with her. She was such a pro that our shoot ended way before the expected wrap up.” Asked what he loves most about Aimee, BJ beams, “Her sun-kissed skin, her long legs, and her bubbly personality!”
