Running has become more than a fitness activity. It is now a lifestyle shaped by community, personalization, and shared purpose. At SM Mall of Asia, your most loved mall, this shift is reflected in how the space supports a maxed out running experience. One that brings together scale, safety, accessibility, and thoughtful programming for different kinds of runners.

A strong wave of runners moved together during last year’s Women’s Run, driven by shared energy, purpose, and momentum
Wide seaside routes, open-air surroundings, and seamless access allow individuals and groups to run at their own pace. From solo weekday jogs to large-scale race days, the environment supports different goals without friction. This has made the venue a consistent choice for running communities and organizers looking for a space that can adapt to varying needs while delivering a complete experience.

On display are the official race kits for this year’s Women’s Run PH, featuring event shirts and finisher medals for the 5K, 10K, and 16K categories. Major runs held at the complex show how this ecosystem continues evolving all for you.

The FCC Women’s Run PH returns this March in celebration of International Women’s Month, marking its third year at the venue. The event has grown year on year, drawing over 8,000 women in its previous edition and now targeting more than 16,000 participants. Designed around inclusivity and women empowerment, the run provides race categories that accommodate different fitness levels and life stages, creating a safe and supportive space where women can move with confidence.

Beyond participation, the Women’s Run highlights personalization in active lifestyles. Runners choose distances aligned with their goals. Design elements, including symbolic finisher medals, add emotional value to the experience. The atmosphere prioritizes encouragement over competition, reinforcing advocacy for wellness, inclusion, and collective strength.
“Running communities thrive when spaces are designed around real needs,” said Joaquin San Agustin, Executive Vice President for Marketing of SM Supermalls. “At SM Mall of Asia, we focus on creating environments that support different motivations, from personal fitness goals to community-driven events. This is how we deliver experiences that stay relevant and meaningful.”

That same community-first approach is evident in Doraemon Run 2026, which is set to welcome 10,000 runners of all ages. By blending pop culture with fitness, the event introduces running as a hobby and leisure activity that families, fans, and first-timers can enjoy together. It strengthens community ties by creating a shared experience that goes beyond the run itself, encouraging participation without pressure and making movement approachable.

Supporting these activities is SM Active Hub, the platform that connects sports, wellness, and community programs across SM malls. Through regular activities, partnerships, and major events, SM Active Hub helps sustain engagement beyond race day, turning one-time participation into long-term habits.
As running continues to grow as part of everyday life, SM Mall of Asia remains a place where experiences are designed all for you. From personalization and inclusion to community and leisure, the space continues to adapt to how people move, connect, and live.
