Here’s a list of fun activities families can do to bond with Lola and Lolo:
1. Receive blessings. Grandparents are the biggest blessing one can have. Whisper a little prayer for them as you celebrate the Holy Mass and get a Special Blessing for Lolos and Lolas at SM this September 8.
2. Get ‘em movin’. Persuading your grandparents to exercise may seem like a difficult task, but SM’s National Grand Fit Fest, a fun fitness event for grandparents during the morning of September 8, will surely get Lola and Lolo moving!
3. Fill their stomachs. Treat your Lola and Lolo to delicious meals at their favorite SM mall and enjoy Grand Deals until September 8 from participating stores and restaurants. Grandparents also get a special senior discount at The SM Store by presenting their senior citizen ID on Sept. 8.
4. Get your groove on. Show off your moves at the Lola, Lolo, and Me Dance Challenge, a grandparent-grandkid tandem dance showdown. Show off your dance moves as you perform contemporary dance numbers in front of a panel of judges for a chance to win exciting treats!
5. Go shopping. Make your grandparents happy by stopping by the Grand Bazaar where you can find awesome organic eats your grandparents will surely appreciate.
6. Challenge them to an online game. Score great prizes by joining the Amazing Lolo and Lola Race, an exciting online game wherein you can race with your Lola or Lolo to the finish line! Simply visit the Grandparents’ Day booth located at the event area of participating SM malls from September 4-8 and scan the Amazing Lolo and Lola Race QR code using your mobile phone. The top 25 participants in the leaderboard at the end of the campaign will be awarded with special giveaways!
