“We are the first commercial roastery in the country. Roasting is very important to us. The beans, the nuances of those beans are important, but the roasting as well. That’s how we began in coffee,” says Ginny De Villa, Gourmet Farms’ Sales and Marketing Director. For Gourmet Farms, the secret to bringing out the best coffee flavor is its roasting.
Gourmet Farms takes its coffee seriously, and coffee experts have certified their exceptional quality. In fact, its two variants, the Apo and the Atok from its Kapelipinas line, are seeded as two of the best single-origin coffees in the world at the Philippine Coffee Quality Competition and recognized by the Specialty Coffee Association.
Amid this recognition, Gourmet Farms continues to develop different products for consumers with different tastes. In 2015, they partnered with Kultura so that their products could become more accessible to a wider market.
