UAAP Season 87 Men’s Basketball (First Round)

Get ready to cheer loud and proud as collegiate basketball heats up in the Philippines! The UAAP Men’s Basketball is taking over the MOA Arena, and it’s time to root for your faves. Watch the Adamson Soaring Falcons, Ateneo Blue Eagles, De La Salle Green Archers, FEU Tamaraws, NU Bulldogs, UE Red Warriors, UP Fighting Maroons, and UST Growling Tigers go head-to-head in an epic battle for the crown this 87th season of the UAAP.

EASL Tip-Off Manila 2024 on October 2

Calling all professional basketball fans out there: the East Asian Super League (EASL) tip off is happening right here at the MOA Arena! EASL is the champions league of professional basketball leagues from Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, and the Philippines.
The first two of the 30 matches this season are happening at the MOA Arena, featuring the clash between the Philippines’ San Miguel Beermen and South Korea’s Suwon KT Sonicboom at 6:00 PM. The second match, starting at 8:00 PM, is going to be between the Philippines’ MERALCO Bolts and the Macau Black Bears.

Where are the ZEROSE at? One of the super rookies of the K-Pop world in 2023 is making their way to Manila! A product of the reality show “Boys Planet,” Ji Woong, Zhang Hao, Han Bin, Matthew, Tae Rae, Ricky, Gyu Vin, Gun Wook, and Yu Jin will finally sweep Filipino ZEROSE off their feet on October 12, 2024 at the MOA Arena. Manila is the fourth stop on their Timeless World tour, where fans can expect to see the boys perform their hits such as “Sweat,” “Feel the Pop,” and their debut single, “In Bloom.”
Billboard PH Mainstage on October 15
Celebrating their first anniversary since their foray into the Philippine music scene, Billboard Philippines is hosting Billboard Philippines: Mainstage. HORI7ON 2ND CONCERT "DAYTOUR: HORI7ON HIGH" on November 3
Happening at the MOA Arena on November 3, HORI7ON, the Seoul-based Pinoy boyband, will serenade their fans, the Anchors, at their second concert in the Philippines! Catch Winston, Kyler, Reyster, Kim, Jeromy, Marcus, and Vinci in person, and see the boys perform their string of hits since their debut in 2023. Prepare to have the time of your lives as you can expect to hear the boys perform, “Six7een,” “Birthday,” “Lucky,” and perhaps even their latest single, their own rendition of “Sumayaw Sumunod.”

Michael Learns to Rock on November 5
Bringing their hit classics like “25 Minutes,” “Paint My Live,” “The Actor,” and “Take Me To Your Heart,” live on stage, Michael Learns To Rock will be back in town on November 5, 2024. The Danish band is coming back to Manila—this time at the MOA Arena—as part of their Take Us To Your Heart tour in Asia. Here’s another one for the basketball fans! The road to the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup is under way and we’re now down to the last 24 teams vying for the top 16 spot that will advance to the finals next year. Show up and support Team Gilas Pilipinas on November 21 as they face the guys from New Zealand. Three days later on November 24, they will go head to head against the Hong Kong basketball team.
Juan Karlos Live in MOA on November 29
The voice behind OPM hits like “Buwan,” “Demonoyo,” and “Kasing Kasing,” Juan Karlos is ready to light up the MOA Arena stage with his passionate ballads on November 29. Rising to fame after competing in Season 1 of The Voice Kids, the actor-singer-songwriter will be pouring his heart into performances of his biggest tracks, including “Ere”—his 2023 smash hit that even made it to Spotify’s global Top 100 chart.

Akon The Superfan Tour on December 3
The man behind R&B hits like “Smack That,” “I Wanna Love You,” and “Don’t Matter,” is set to come back to the Philippines and make the MOA Arena a one big party space. Five-time Grammy nominee Akon was last in the Philippines in 2009, so his Superfan Tour on December 3 is going to be a reunion unlike any other. Get ready to bust out your dance moves and party with the man himself, as well as other artists including our very own OPM artitsts Gloc-9, Flow G, Chocolate Factory, Legit Mizfitz, and DJ Kate Jagdon.

New Wave Tribe Festival on December 8
Let the good ol’ songs from the 80s kickstart the most wonderful month of the year! Another favorite American pop rock band, Maroon 5, is also slated to return to Manila for a one-night only concert at the MOA Arena on January 29, 2025.
