SM Cinema redefines the premium 3d cinema experience by launching Southeast Asia’s first laser projection system at the forefront of Cebu, the to-be-launched SM Seaside City. The Christie® 6P laser projection system will be used on SM’s new large format theatre entitled “SM LARGE SCREEN CINEMA,” which boasts of a super-sized screen almost 30% larger than the regular cinema screen size. Representing the pinnacle of laser-illuminated projection, the Christie® 6P laser produces the brightest images with 80% illumination. The Christie® 6P laser offers the best 3D platform that accurately reproduces the colors of the actual movie set, developing the most immersive cinema experience.
The SM Large Screen Cinema also proudly uses the ATMOS Sound System and the top-of-the-line Christie Vive Speakers, engulfing its audience in riveting surround-sound. SM Large Screen Cinema will house 351 guests, seating patrons in a stadium-like setting.
Offering the best movie options in the country: SM Seaside City Cebu will also carry 2 Director’s Club Cinemas and 4 regular sized cinemas at the SM Seaside City Cebu.
From the large screen to the intimate theatre: SM Cinema Seaside City Cebu will welcome the city’s first “DIRECTOR’S CLUB CINEMA:” an intimate and luxurious theatre specializing in above par personalized service for every movie-lover, complete with plush leather seats and in-house butlers. The first of its kind in the Cebu, the Director’s Club Cinema is well-appointed and elegant, equipped with excellent projection, digital surround sound, and a crystal-clear digital screen. With inviting and comfortable recliner seats, guests need only push a button to summon the theatres’ trained in-house butlers who serve a menu of delicious eats to accompany the entire movie-watching experience. Much like the cinema trends applied in the United States, the Director’s Club cinema caters to only 56 guests per theatre, while standard cinemas offer 200 seats at minimum. SM Seaside City Cebu will have two intimate theatres for the enjoyment of the Cebuano.
SM Cinema rounds off its complete movie experience with four high-quality regular cinemas. As a standard in all SM Cinemas, SM Cinema apportions an area dedicated to PWD to accommodate all varieties of guests.
