  1. The Super Kids Monsterrific Halloween Costume Contest is from October 26 to 31, 2024.
  2. The competition is divided into two contest categories- male and female. Each category is open to kids below 12 years old.
  3. The contest will be held in the following participating SM Malls:
  4. To join the competition, the kid’s parent or guardian must register via SM Malls Online App. After registration, an event pass will be generated. Registration period starts on October 21-31, 2024. Cut-off for the registration is 12NN on the day of the mall event.
  1. The parent/guardian shall show the event pass and submit a single or accumulated receipt of at least P 1,500 from any establishment in SM Supermalls where the kid is competing. Only receipts dated within the registration period will be considered valid. A copy of the birth certificate of the participating kid should also be submitted.
  2. Participants may dress up like cute monster characters- animals, aliens, friendly creatures or favorite monster characters on movies. Characterization must be family-friendly and should not be offensive, objectionable or violent. Costumes must not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon and sharp objects that may accidentally strike another person.
  3. Three (3) winners from each category will be given the following prizes:
  1. Participants will be judged based on the following criteria:
  1. Winners will be announced immediately after the contest, and prizes will be awarded at the same time. In case of a tie, the judges will re-evaluate the entries to determine the winners. SM Gift Certificates will be given to the winners upon announcement.
  2. If the winners are not present at the venue during the announcement, they will be notified via call, SMS, and online post. Prizes must be claimed within 60 days by the registered owner of the SM Malls Online account used to generate the event pass. The account owner must submit the following at the mall admin office:
    • Two (2) valid IDs
    • Screenshot of the online post or SMS from the organizer
  3. A DTI representative will be invited to facilitate and supervise the contest. The decision of the organizers, in concurrence with the DTI, is final.
  4. SM Supermalls has the right to forfeit winner’s prize, along with the concurrence of DTI representative, should there be discrepancies on documents submitted.
  5. Employees of SM Supermalls, its affiliates, advertising agencies, mall tenants, their respective officers and employees, and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are not eligible to participate in the competition.
