About the Artist

Anna Vergel R.S. is a Filipino multidisciplinary artist whose work explores themes of mythology, transformation, and femininity. A former University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) athlete, she began her art career at the University of the Philippines, Diliman and has since mounted several acclaimed solo exhibitions. Beyond painting, Anna advocates for arts education, mentors young artists, and leads restoration projects. Her recent works continue her exploration of strength and reinvention—on canvas and in life.
