Join SM Supermalls in celebrating its 40th anniversary! The SM Book Nook Book Donation Drive begins July 7, 2025. Donate your pre-loved books at any SM mall nationwide to help foster a love for reading in communities.

Here's how you can donate:

Accepted Book Donations

All Books should be gently used with complete and clean pages, minimal to no markings or highlighting. Please ensure they are free from mold, water damage, strong odor, or insect activity with intact and bindings secure

a. Ideally published within the last 10 years (2014 onward), especially for nonfiction and reference books. b. Exceptions gladly welcomed for timeless classics and culturally significant titles

a. Children’s books (e.g. picture books, early readers, storybooks)
b. Young Adult (YA) fiction
c. General fiction and nonfiction (including bestsellers)
d. Books by Filipino authors or about Philippine culture and history
e. Recent editions of educational and reference books (encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases)
f. Career and skills development (IT, business, hospitality, etc.)
g. Graphic novels and comics with educational or literary value
h. Books supporting local tourism and heritage

a. We welcome books in English, Filipino, and local Philippine languages

Books we’re unable to accept at this time.

All Textbooks over five years old and reference materials with outdated content—especially in fields like medicine, law, or science—may no longer be suitable, unless they remain aligned with current educational standards.

Books that are incomplete, damaged, or affected by mold, pests, or strong odors.

a. Highly technical or specialized college-level materials
b. Religious texts intended for proselytizing, unless submitted through public libraries with community approval
c. Content that promotes hate, violence, discrimination, or explicit adult material
