Plan ahead
Whether you are traveling solo or with a group, planning ahead gives you a lot of breathing room—especially for your budget. Booking your fares and accommodations in advance is a lot less cheaper than buying them just weeks or days before your intended travel dates.

Research

Make a list, check it twice
Aside from the clothes, write down all the things that you will need to bring for your trip such as medicines (especially for specific medical conditions that you might have), important documents such as your passport, any other form of identification (if traveling locally), tickets, hotel booking confirmations, travel insurance, and the like. Don’t forget to put your chargers and extension cords on the list too!
Exchange money or withdraw from an ATM at the destination?
This is also something that you should consider prior to your departure. If you’re bringing cash, have them exchanged at your trusted money changers to make sure you get the best rates possible.
