SM bagged two Awards of Excellence for SM Cinema’s Reel to Real Campaign: Where Movies Come Alive and Move You, under the ‘Communication Management - Customer Relations’ and ‘Communication Skills - Special and Experiential Events’ categories at the prestigious 17th Philippine Quill Awards night last August 30, held at Marriot Hotel Manila.

SM won a Quill award for SM Markets’ AutiSM at Work, a workplace inclusion program for persons with autism – under the ‘Communication Management - Corporate Social Responsibility’ category. SM continues to champion other programs for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) through SM Cares, the CSR arm of SM Prime Holdings – including the Angels Walk for Autism, Happy Walk for Downe Syndrome, and Movies for the Deaf and Blind, among others.

Other Quill Awards clinched by SM were for Everyday is Play Day, a fun activation delighting kids and families with activities, interactive installations, and character meet-and-greets in Metro Manila SM malls; Mall of Asia’s International Day of Happiness, a day of celebrating happiness at the MOA complex with a sale event and a squad giving away treats and surprises to mallgoers; and the #AweSM 60 campaign, a six-month celebration of 60-themed fun experiences, activities, and sale events that marks the SM brand’s 60th year milestone.

For nearly two decades, the Philippine Quill Awards has been the country’s most prestigious awards program on business communication. The awards carry the seal of approval for the most reputable organizations in the country that underscore the use of excellent communications to achieve business goals and to make a difference in society.
