Fresh from its recent win as one of the Philippines’ Best Employer Brands, SM Supermalls has earned another recognition for its exemplary leadership in human resource management.

The Employer Branding Institute and World HRD Congress named SM as one of Asia’s Best Employer Brands for 2019 for its world-class HR initiatives and practices that foster employees' long-term engagement and commitment."

The awarding ceremony held last August 15 at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Singapore aims to celebrate excellence in HR and recognize organizations and individuals who push boundaries for people strategy.

Some of SM Supermalls’ notable milestones include its strong and continued linkages with local government and universities for recruitment activities, the 40% increase in our online engagement in a span of three months, and the impactful training and development programs which earned positive satisfaction rates and feedback from its employees.

Our continuous efforts in promoting employee engagement has also earned SM Supermalls the prestigious title as one of Asia’s Best Employer Brands. This year, SM launched eight new employee engagement programs covering employee wellness as well as community volunteerism. Through constant innovation of our programs, we experienced an increase of 130% in terms of employee volunteers across SM malls and properties nationwide.
