MUJI

MUJI is a household name in Japan for a reason. No matter what you might need, you will almost certainly find it at MUJI. In fact, chances of you walking out with more than what you planned on buying is very high so get ready for the ultimate shopping spree. They have stationery, furniture, fabric, houseware, health and beauty products, electronics, clothing, accessories, and more. The MUJI store in SM North Edsa also happens to be the biggest one in the Philippines so if you’re a MUJI fan, this is definitely a must-visit the next time you’re in the area. This branch of MUJI also features new store design elements like natural and reclaimed wood, sandy walls, and steel mesh panels, making it a true feast for the eyes. The exquisite feel, minimalist look, and tranquil atmosphere will make you feel like you’ve been transported to an actual MUJI store in Japan.

Shake Shack

Location: City Center, L2

Shake_Shack

Shake Shack’s delicious made-to-order Angus beef burgers, crispy chicken, hand-spun milkshakes, house-made lemonade, beer, wine, and more are now available to hungry fans in Quezon City. You’re probably already familiar with Shake Shack’s offerings but what sets it apart in SM North Edsa is its architectural elements and indoor lush greenery inspired by SM North’s Sky Garden. They also have an airy and invigorating outdoor dining area if you prefer to dine al fresco. Don’t miss their sweet lineup of desserts, either, such as their Berry Bituin concrete. A playful take on Quezon City’s City of Stars moniker and the tagalog word for star (bituin), this dessert perfectly combines sweetness and tartness through vanilla frozen custard blended with strawberry sauce and Auro chocolate chunks, topped with freeze-dried strawberries.

Din Tai Fung

Location: City Center, L2

DIN_TAI_FUNG

This award-winning, half-a-century-old Taiwanese restaurant is the perfect place to dine with your family. Known for making the world’s best Xiaolongbao, they’ve also got a ton of other signature dishes for you to try. We highly recommend their Crispy Beef Strips, Fried Rice, and Shrimp and Pork Dumplings. Since the SM North Edsa branch is said to be able to seat 250 people, it’s the perfect place to celebrate big occasions with your loved ones as well.

Lugang Café

Location: City Center, L2

LUGANG_CAFE

One of the first accessible Taiwanese cafes in the Philippines, Lugang Cafe is said to have popularized xiao long bao in Manila. Other mainstay dishes that have stood the test of time and deserve to be on your must-eat list are their three-cup chicken, Bellagio breeze, and salted egg yolk prawn. If you’ve got a vegetarian in the group, they also have a vegan menu complete with offerings for appetizers, mains, and even desserts.
