SM City Roxas is Now Open—And Here Are The 10 Stores We’re Excited To Visit

Here’s good news for those living in the Seafood Capital of the Philippines. SM Supermalls is set to open its 79th mall in Roxas City, Capiz on April 8, 2022, and an aweSM experience awaits! Starting on opening day, mall-goers will get access to “first in the city” shops, restaurants, and other exciting destinations, with more beloved brands set to open their stores within the year.

The Face Shop (G/L)

K-Beauty fan? No need to look far for your skincare essentials; The Face Shop has all that you need and more. Some cool finds include their Yehwahdam range of creams, emulsions, and serums (made with natural Korean herbs and flowers); the cosmeceutical skincare line Dr. Belmeur; and a wide assortment of Real Nature Face Masks for when you need to slap on a sheet mask at home.

Lay Bare (2/L)

Manila’s premier waxing expert has landed in Capiz and is ready to cater to all your hair removal needs, whether you’re in need of a quickie underarm wax or all set for a Brazilian. Offering waxing facial and body waxing services for both women and men (as well as eyebrow threading and trimming), the salon uses cold wax jelly for less pain and a smooth skin finish. Tip: Check out their packages for good deals!

If you’re feeling a bit adventurous (or if you love matcha), the Chestnut Cream Uji Matcha just might be more your thing.

One whiff of this bakery’s freshly baked goodies is all it takes to lure you in, and anyone who’s ever passed by one of its stores knows how difficult it is to walk away empty-handed. Our advice? Give in and fill up your tray with BreadTalk favorites like the best-selling pork and chicken Flosss Buns, the classic Cheezymada, or the flavorful Spring in the City, rolled bread with ham, diced carrots, spring onions, and flosss.
