MANILA – October 20, 2016 – Viber, the Philippines’ leading communications app, and SM Supermalls, the country’s largest mall chain, announce a first in the world mall partnership through a series of groundbreaking projects for Viber users and SM shoppers alike.

 

“Through the #SMonViber partnership, we aim to enrich the brand experience of our 26 million unique users with a campaign that turns Viber stickers into a shopping discount coupon and fashionable tees. The #SMonViber partnership pioneered a number of industry ‘firsts’. The SM Sticker Pak! Ganern, which featured fun shopping expressions such as “Good MOAnin’!”, “Love it!”, “Let’s meet and eat!”, “Mall Tayo!”, and “Hi, Ma’m-Ser!”, is the first mall-themed sticker pack to launch on Viber. The stickers were sent in chat conversations over a million times. SM shoppers and Viber users were also treated to a 10% discount at SM Stores nationwide with a minimum purchase of P1,500 from August 15-October 15, 2016.

The two global brands have also recently launched the very first SM x Viber Tee Collection due to the popularity of the SM Sticker Pak! Ganern. Eleven popular stickers from the pack like “OMG”, “Yaaas!”, “Date soon!”, “Push!”, “Take Care”, “Love It” and “Ano bae?” are featured in these quirky, limited-edition graphic tees. The SM x Viber Limited Edition Tees start at P299.75 (cotton) and P399.75 (dri-fit), available at the Girl’s Teens Wear section at The SM Store in select SM malls such as North EDSA, Mall of Asia, Megamall, Sta. Rosa and many more.
