SM Supermalls, the country's biggest mall network, announced a strategic partnership with Zomato, the world's biggest and fastest growing online and mobile restaurant discovery platform; and the Philippines' largest restaurant and food guide with a listing of over 11,000 restaurants in Metro Manila, Antipolo, and Tagaytay; and 3,000 restaurant in Cebu.

Realizing the strong dining culture of Filipinos and in its continuing aspiration to innovate and provide excellent customer service through available technology, SM partnered with Zomato to make their foodie shoppers' dining out experience more convenient than ever before.

SM is the biggest mall campaign for Zomato, showcasing SM's wide variety of dining destinations.

Now, Zomato Philippines' 8 million users can discover new and exciting places to eat at SM Supermalls as various mall branches get to be featured in the rich content of the global restaurant search and discovery app. Select malls namely, SM City North EDSA, SM Mall of Asia, SM Aura Premier, SM Southmall, and The Podium, are automatically introduced in Zomato's locality map section to help users identify great dining places based on variety of food joints accessible within the nearby SM mall.

Zomato app users are now enabled to access in-depth restaurant information on-the-go including menus, photos, complete contact information, and geo-coded coordinates for restaurants of select SM malls. With Zomato's Feedback Report, shoppers are now also empowered to share their insights about the quality of food, service and the total dining experience they had at various restaurants at SM.

Prior the tie-up with Zomato, SM Supermalls recently announced its partnership with Waze, the world's largest community-based traffic and navigation app. It is the first time a local mall chain partners with a global pioneer in social navigation.
