Lots of playful activities await SM kiddie shoppers at 68 SM malls nationwide as the country’s biggest mall operator launches its ‘Let’s Play Now At SM’ summer campaign that will run from April to June 2018.
“During events like this, we are reminded of the special opportunity that we have—the chance to be able to draw smiles on every child’s face and create unforgettable moments for families to cherish forever,” Joaquin San Agustin, Senior Vice President for Marketing of SM Supermalls said as he welcomed the families who flocked to the ‘Let’s Play Now At SM’ launch held recently at SM City San Lazaro. “These amazing moments are reasons why we are continuously inspired to create events that celebrate family and their love for each other.”
The summer campaign kick-off event gave a sneak peek to what kids and the whole family can enjoy at SM this summer.
Clowning Around Manila kept the crowd going as they brought to life kids’ favorite fairytale characters, such as Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Peter Pan, and Tinkerbell. Children then sang along to the world-class performance of The Voice Kids and SM Little Stars achiever, Esang De Torres as she sang musical hit Defying Gravity. Kiddie stars NhikzyCalma, Lei Andre Navarro, Yesha Camille, Onyok Pineda, and Jana Agoncillo also graced the stage and encouraged kids to stay active and watch out for more activities SM has in store for them this summer.
Attendees were also given the chance to experience a special preview for the exciting kiddie workshops set for summer. Kids learned how to draw and paint at the arts and crafts booth, while professional mentors taught some of them the basics of modeling and singing. They also enjoyed playing with the latest video games available in the country, while energetic kids explored the maze and ball pit in the area. Toy Kingdom, The SM Store, Baby Company SM Cyberzone, SM Shopmag, SM Markets, SM Storyland and McDonald’s joined forces to delight the children with their summer-tastic activities and treats.
Family bonding time is made even more memorable with an upcoming Summer Fun Run and Summer Chillin’ music jam featuring Filipino artists, live art performances, and a food bazaar, which will be held during the weekends of April and May in selected SM Supermalls nationwide.
