Mechanics:
1. Promo period is from January 21 to February 5, 2019.
2. Participants should be equipped with any smart phone with a QR code scanner app.
3. Participants should have an internet connection from any internet provider. They may also use SM Supermalls' FREE WIFI that is limited to one (1) hour only.
4. The digital hongbao will be revealed daily within the promo period by scanning QR codes in participating SM Supermalls via generic QR Code Scanners.
5. How to play:
- Player starts his quest for digital hongbaos by looking for QR codes spread across establishments in all participating SM Malls.
- Player opens his/her QR scanner where the Digital Hongbao game mechanics will be shown.
- Player’s screen will be led to the QR scanner where player must align the QR code to his/her smartphone’s camera to scan.
- Once successfully scanned, digital hongbao will appear on screen.
- Player must shake his/her mobile phone to discover the content of the scanned hongbao.
- Corresponding prize will be revealed and can be redeemed by showing to the counter at participating tenant/establishment.
- Player can scan as much codes to redeem more gifts from tenants and partners.
